exposition- louis wu is have a 200 hundreth birthday party and he goes away from the party into a transporter booth and gets ziped away to a room where a puppeteer ask him to join some kind of voyage. then the puppeteer asks a kzin and he says yes also.

rising action- the 4th member of the crew was a little harder to convince. the wanted to know the details and wasnt getting any answers....none of them got answers and the begin to fight and get angre with one and other. but soon the all begin to trust the puppeteer (nessus) because it seemed very important to him. they take off and begin there voyge.

climax- on the way to the planet of the pupeteers, they get shot at and fight off other ships and sucsessfuly make it there ok. the the leader of the pupeteers tell them they must find this place. its not like any other planet because it is ring shaped, allthough the planet is somwwhat earth like. they follow the directions and find they amazing land....they need to ship all the pupeteer people there because there world is fallin apart.

falling action- louis stricks up a love relationship between him and the 4th crew member telia brown. he also ends it by saying the wronge thing at the wrong time.then, when they try to get off this planet the there is this hurricane like storm. they all fear for there lifes. the other crew members want to go around the storm but louis wants to go stight throuh it and so what if he dies trying. at least he will die a hero.

resolution- him and the other crew members make it throgh the eye of the storm. then they all return safe and sound to there homes. but they also got a really fast and amazing spaceship as there reward for saving the pupeteer people. telia and louis reconnected thier love match and every one was happy.

man vs self .....Louis is coming to an old age and lived his life working from day to day pay check to pay check and now he is realizing that he does know what he wants in life
man vs. man......there was a war between the kzins and human. now they are somewhat against each other.
man vs society...... the puppeteer needs help with his empire so he asks Louis and the others to help him.

ringworld

i know i havent up dated latly but not much has been goin on........

ok so next the puppeteer says that louis is only the second person out of four to join his crew....then they step back in the transporter booth and zipe....next thing louis knows he is in a bar....he qickly waves the waiter down and orders a drink.....the puppeteer gives him a evil look and tells him they are not here to drink but to ask a kzin to join there crew.....the kzin accepts.... then they all talk for a while and get to know each other....louis dicovers that the puppeteer's human is nessus...but his real name is....he opened his mouth and a beautiful flow of music came flowing out....and the kzin people dont have names like us ..they are named by their talents....this perticular kzin was known by the name of speaker-to-animales....... then they all three step back in the transporter booth and zip they all end up back a louis's birthday party....and he interduces them to all his crazy friends....he was also in shock they none of them left the party afert he was gone for such a long time.

my thoguhts on starwars...

everything about this flim was interesting to me...after watching this movie i am most defintly going to finsh the rest of the series. i have so many questions....due to the fact of parody, i know the whole time vader was luke skywalkers father....but im still very bewilderd by princess leia and luke skywalker's love realationship.....as far as i know they are family....like close family.....like brother and sister close...??...?? but how o they not know??? and how could a father turn on his family?? or is he really turning on them?? why is he aftr luke his son and not leia....is it becouse the simple fact that she is a girl???are men jedi stronger and better?? and if vader wanted luke to join him because he is family......leia is family also shoulnt he be after both of them?? i guess ill just have to watch the whole series to find out.....huh

Movie in text...

star wars in one of the most widly known and famous films of science fiction. theres space creatures, space ships and robots. what could be more interesting? theres also even a little romance. the story line may be a bit hard to follow...but if you pay close attention you will be fine. there are little stories unfolding all at the same time and they all add spice to the whole movie.first of all there is a love conflict between the princess and hon solo..then theres the friend ship between hon solo and luke skywalker. then theres darth vader trying to get close to luke. lastly there master yoda try to teach luke to become a master jeteye. all these things are pulling together and making a great film!

How faith relates to my book..

the only way this book "Ringworld" has related anything to faith.....is the way it has effected my faith. this book has a very futureistic them. it really makes my mind wander and think.......could there really be all these amazing things in the future? and if so, is it really fair that we dont have these things now? for example...in my book there is a transporter booths all over that instanty zap you anywhere you want to go....wouldnt that be handy today? or the fact that they have obviously created a way to live either twicw as long as we do today or they have figured out a way to live forever{luis wu the main charaicter is have a twohundreth bithday in the story} it just does not seem fair each generation changes and bacomes easyer to live in> i dont even think its fair that the people that were here threehundred years ago died from somthing as simple as a cold and only lived to be about thirty> they didnt get a change to really live> is that really fare????

this story was very interesting and for me it was a bit hard to understand. now that we have discussed the story in class i understand much better. in my opinion i would never question my faith like he did in this story. i mean i know he knows alot more about space and science...but the fact is nothing can change what i believe. i think that for some unknown purpose, god does everything for a reason. maybe the solar system he destroyed was become a nightmare...for example.. what if the aliens/people were coming down with some sort of tourturing disease that was going to make the whole population suffer yet live forever. god prevented this dreadful nightmare.... and sent them all to a better place. i mean....we really dont know the story from gods point of view now do we?
