the star#2

this story was very interesting and for me it was a bit hard to understand. now that we have discussed the story in class i understand much better. in my opinion i would never question my faith like he did in this story. i mean i know he knows alot more about space and science...but the fact is nothing can change what i believe. i think that for some unknown purpose, god does everything for a reason. maybe the solar system he destroyed was become a nightmare...for example.. what if the aliens/people were coming down with some sort of tourturing disease that was going to make the whole population suffer yet live forever. god prevented this dreadful nightmare.... and sent them all to a better place. i mean....we really dont know the story from gods point of view now do we?

class assignment

This story was very interesting... but the thing that interested me most is the fact the auther says that space has affected his fath and outlook on religion. If you knew as much as he did about space, do you think you would you be sceptical about your fath also?

ringworld#1

The book i am reading is called Ringworld by larry niven. So far this book has been very interesting. The book is about a guy named luis wu, and on his twohundreth birthday he leaves his party to be alone. He walks down the moving side walks passing people who all like very much alike. he steps into a transporter booth and is shiped away. He does not end up in his destination, but in a small hotel room. in this room he meets a alien/puppetteer. the alien soon asks him to come on a vouge with him and his crew. he says "of course!"
